Dave came to us from LA, his big influence, The Paul Butterfield Blues Band. After he toured with Albert Collins in the late 70's Dave finished college at Cal Poly in SLO town in the early 80's. From there Dave jammed with bands like Fleetwood MAC, Buddy Miles (before jail), Paul Julian, RAT, and W.A.S.P.. Really, Dave dedicated his work with kids, so he stopped the tour scene until he came to Santa Barbara and met up with Chris Millner the band's bass player.

Chris heard some of Dave's stuff recorded for ABC show "My So Called Life" and other Network "outtakes" and asked Dave if he would like to "join the band". Dave said "DUDE" and the rest is history.
