Shulman
Powell was started in 1998 when Stu Shulman and Steve Powell decided
to help the Citizens
for the Carpinteria Bluffs raise $4 million in 4 months to
save a 52 acre parcel of sacred Chumash Indian land. Overnight
they created the award winning Save
the Carpinteria Bluffs website and helped produce
radio
and tv ads. The rest is history as the bluffs were saved. Steve
and Stu had helped raise the awareness needed to accomplish such
a feat. The site was designed to take donations over the internet
which helped bring in lots of money to help the cause. Due to
the popularity of the Bluffs website, Shulman Powell Web Services
was created and Steve and Stu have been busy ever since providing
the same excellent service to the community.
